Clone tool allows to select and sample an area
of your picture and then uses these pixels to paint over any marks.
The Clone tool acts like a brush so you
can change the size, allowing cloning from just one pixel wide to
hundreds.
You can change the feathering to produce a
subtle clone effect.
How to use the Clone tool.
You can use menu items: Mode | Clone tool or click "Clone tool"
toolbar button.
Shape: Specifies the shape of the area that
is cloned.
Cursor size: Specifies the size of the area
that is cloned.
Feathering: Feathers the clone image before
applying it.
Transparency:
Specify the transparency of the cloned content.
Clip source to image area: if the user
specifies a source outside the image area, the background is cloned
onto the image. Enable this option to ignore any part of the source
that is outside the image area.
Use for feathering can affect performance. To
reduce this, enable "Delayed quality painting", which will
delay full quality painting until the final render
