How to edit PDF files

 

The program allows you to open PDF files in raster format, so editing PDF files is similar to working in a graphics editor.

How to remove text in PDF file

 

To remove text, you can use the Eraser mode.

In the menu, select Mode - Eraser or click the Eraser button on the toolbar .

Select the Shape, Size and Color of the eraser (match the background color). Press the left mouse button (LMB) and move the eraser to erase the desired part of the text or the entire text. Release the LMB to stop the process of erasing (deleting) the text.

Select Mode - View from the menu to exit the Eraser mode.

 

How to add text to a PDF file

 

To add text, you can use the Text mode.

In the menu, select Mode - Text or click the Text button on the toolbar .

Select a Font (name, size, and style), font color, and method for adding text. Enter the desired text in the Text field.

Move the mouse, and depending on the selected method, a rectangle, cursor, or specified text will move after it. Click the left mouse button (LMB) where you want to insert the text. Each time you click LMB, the text you specified will be added.

Select Mode - View from the menu to exit the text addition mode.

 

How to remove an image in a PDF file

 

To remove an image, you can use the Eraser mode.

In the menu, select Mode - Eraser or click the Eraser button on the toolbar .

Select the Shape, Size and Color of the eraser (matching the background color). Press the left mouse button (LMB) and move the eraser to erase the desired area of the image or the entire image. Release LMB to stop the erasing (deleting) process.

Select Mode - View from the menu to exit the Eraser mode.

 

How to add an Image in a PDF file

 

To add an image, you can use the Annotations mode.

In the menu, select Mode - Annotations or click the Annotations button on the toolbar .

Select Annotations - Object - Image from the menu or click the Image button on the toolbar. Select the image file you want to insert and click Open.

Press the left mouse button (LMB) at the desired point and the image will be inserted there in full size, or LMB select a rectangle that will be filled with the image.

After inserting, you can resize the image and move it.

After you finish working with the image, you need to combine it with the background. To do this, use the menu items Annotations - Combine with background (or Combine selected with background). You can also do this by clicking the "Combine with background" button on the toolbar.

Select Mode - View from the menu to exit the Annotations mode.

 

How to add Objects to a PDF file

 

To add objects to a PDF file, you can use the Annotations mode.

In the menu, select Mode - Annotations or click the Annotations button on the toolbar .

Select the menu item Annotations - Object - Select the desired Object or click the button of the desired object on the toolbar.

The following objects are available: highlight, line, rectangle, ellipse, image, text, ruler, curve, angle, memo, date-time stamp, stamp.

Press the left mouse button (LMB) to select the starting point and without releasing it, move the mouse to select the end point of the object. After releasing the LMB, a new object will be drawn.

Once inserted, you can resize and move the object. After you finish working with the object, you need to combine it with the background. To do this, use the menu items Annotations - Combine with background (or Combine selected with background). You can also do this by clicking the "Combine with background" button on the toolbar.

Select Mode - View from the menu to exit the Annotations mode.

 

How to Draw in PDF File

 

To draw in a PDF file, you can use the Draw mode.

In the menu, select Mode - Drawing or click the Drawing button on the toolbar.

Select the desired drawing object, color and pen size. The following drawing objects are available: highlight, line, rectangle, ellipse, freehand, polyline, fill, arc, bezier, circle, triangle.

Press and release the left mouse button (LMB) to select the starting point, move the mouse to select the ending point. Press and release LMB to finish drawing.

Unlike objects in Annotation mode, drawing objects are immediately merged with the background. They cannot be edited. But you can always undo the last actions.

Select Mode - View from the menu to exit Drawing mode.
